Shared supportive housing is a living arrangement where individuals share a home or apartment and receive supportive services designed to help them maintain housing stability and work toward their personal goals. It offers a community-focused environment for people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, or other obstacles to secure and stable housing.
Eligibility for shared supportive housing can vary based on the specific program and its funding sources. In general, individuals who are displaced or have a history of mental illness, substance use disorders, or other challenges affecting their housing stability may be eligible for this type of housing.
The duration of stay in shared supportive housing depends on each individual's needs, the specific program guidelines, and available resources. While some programs offer short-term transitional housing, others provide extended support aimed at helping participants achieve long-term housing stability and independence.
We understand the critical need for housing for all individuals and families. However, our current program is specifically designed to serve single adults and is not equipped to accommodate families or women with children at this time. We kindly recommend reaching out to local social service agencies, homeless shelters, housing authorities, or community-based organizations that may offer support and housing options for families.
All program fees are final and non-refundable. If our program does not meet your needs, we are dedicated to assisting you with referrals to alternative providers or community resources that may be better suited to your situation.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us. We're always here to support you.
